Pallas AMS Developer – For developers.

Pallas AMS Apps are business applications and are developed with Microsoft Visual Studio and created, tested and prepared for distribution with the Pallas AMS Developer. C# (csharp) is used as the programming language.

Since even familiar processes and design patterns can be implemented very differently and individually in some cases, Pallas AMS provides a consistent implementation based on current standards for freely scalable business applications.

Databases

Pallas AMS supports the databases for which their manufacturers provide .NET DataProviders. These are mainly:

Microsoft SQL Server
PostgreSQL
SQLite
MariaDB

Different databases from different manufacturers can be used in one and the same Pallas AMS App. The databases can be hosted in the cloud, in the data center or on-premises.

Standard programming

Pallas AMS combines the advantages of standard programming based on Pallas AMS components with those of individual programming.

The standard programming has methods for data manipulation that can be both extended and overwritten. Pallas AMS has additional Pallas AMS components and implementations for expansion, which can be used to easily create reports based on a report generator or documents based on Office automation, for example.

Standard programming gives a Pallas AMS App a consistent look and uniform user guidance and operation.

Individual programming

There is also the option of supplementary or complete individual programming. If necessary, developers can also program their own standards in order to use them for other Pallas AMS Apps.
Of course, controls or tools from third-party providers can also be used for the development of Pallas AMS Apps.

Benefits

The Pallas Application Management Studio makes it easier to control the costs of developing any Pallas AMS App. Both standard and individual programming shorten development times.
Developers can switch from one team to another without a training period. New team members can also start working productively immediately.

Clients of a new Pallas AMS App determine the type of programming without having to have any programming knowledge themselves.

Pallas AMS Apps are distributed and installed using tried-and-tested, standardized processes. This guarantees the shortest possible response times if a delivered Pallas AMS App needs to be replaced with another version. Downtimes of a productive system can thus not only be dramatically reduced, but in the best case avoided altogether.

Pallas AMS Apps are always up to date, because Pallas AMS not only supports the latest .NET version with Microsoft Long Term Support, but the Pallas AMS API, the Pallas AMS Application Programming Interface, supports the latest implementations, processes and design patterns and is constantly being developed further.
